"The process of becoming a leader is much the same as the process of becoming an integrated human being."

Liberating Leadership

"We shall not cease from exploration and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time" T S Eliot

Anchor works with leaders who are committed to their own continuing self-development. We help you find and follow your true north and master your own individual signature style.

We help you to build a successful sustainable organisation with a commitment to uphold the highest standards of integrity and fairness.

We draw on four dimensions of leadership development. These are:

  • Character – Helping you to recognise what makes you unique - your values and guiding principles; your presence and impact; and your skills and capabilities - with the objective of harnessing your strengths and addressing your development needs.
  • Context – Exploring and understanding  your organisation including the  business strategy and culture, roles and responsibilities, key issues and influences – all within the context of the wider environment.
  • Constituencies - Identifying your key constituencies and assessing the quality of your connections and where and how to build strong interdependent relationships.
  • Communication  - Creating an environment that facilitates genuine, meaningful dialogue; appreciating and developing the practice of skillful and engaging communication that is unambiguous and authentic.

By working through these four dimensions, we help you strengthen your leadership capabilities and to balance the conflicting demands of a turbulent world; to heighten self-awareness of your personal and professional impact and to manage complex relationships with key stakeholders.

Each assignment is tailored to the individual’s particular situation. Typically, we would propose two sessions to explore the four leadership dimensions and to identify the key areas/issues that you would like to work on. We would then agree some objectives - that are challenging but realistic - and a time frame and format for future sessions.
